Honestly I don't like that he's a cross-dresser. I mean, that's just me. I think that cross-dressers look kinda gross because of their boy face and girl clothes. Something like transvestites. In my opinion it would be much better if he was just gay, wearing male clothes and just behaving girly.

It's fine that you don't like that he cross-dresses; but it doesn't help me knowing that you just dislike it.
I can change it. Yes, I could, and I probably will when I come back from school. I don't mind, and I think people can more than enough agree with you. But I don't really see how it'll help me if it's just a like/dislike, other than you just stating your dislike. :'>

Maybe we could rp together. You know, Nick could rescue Don from being bullied, but I kinda don't see it happening now. I'm not telling you to change it, it's your character and you create him the way you like.
PS. Thin people actually have lower metabolism, contrary to what is thought.

I'm interested in him already! His character traits are fine and I'm interested to see how you handle a character like this :> However how judgemental would he be given he is probably often the victim of discrimination? Unless it's mostly personality based judging I guess. Forgive me, I began to rant :'D
But yeah! I'm mostly looking forward to seeing how you handle him :3 I know you will be, but remember to be a little careful sometimes. Too much and we'll slip into a stereotype and could offend people, but I'm sure you won't ;D

I... actually don't know how I feel about him D:
Because let's face it, it'd be VERY hard to be a crossdresser in a school like Bullworth which enforces uniforms :< If a male student (based on his birth certificate or other documents) attends a school which has uniforms, they will get a uniform meant for male students. If he does try to go around wearing a skirt, he'd be questioned about it.
It might be easier for a female student to get away with wearing pants and what not, but for a male student wearing a skirt? There might be a problem there. PLUS, I don't want his crossdressing ways to be an excuse for him to angst ;;
I'd go with what Nick says; it'd just be better if he was flamboyantly gay; he still wears male clothes, but he's into "girly" things like fashion and what not. Like the sassy gay best friend sort of deal, no?
IDK, he reads a lot like a cliche or a stock character than an original character :< His bio reminds me a lot of other characters who are somewhat like Don (Kurt from Glee, anyone?).
Having said that though, his stats are fine for someone of his stature. Though a thinner person, like Nick said, would normally have lower metabolism. And, yes, he would be considered a twink: "Twink is a gay slang term describing a young or young-looking gay man (18-23 age category) with a slender, ectomorph build, little or no body hair, and no facial hair." <---- thanks Wikipedia! :'D No where does it say that they need to be attractive, so as long as they look young and hairless :>

Also I just remembered a point; be careful with your language. I know you weren't meaning to offend but terms like "a trap" can be pretty offensive to the trans community.
Also; what Mems said!

You'd be surprised.Anyway, like Mems said, it'd be hard to crossdress while at school. He can still be transgendered, he'd just have to wear a boys' uniform. He can crossdress outside of school, though.

Well I was wrong about the face, but still, a girl with a dick? Gross.

Mems I don't watch Glee :'< So I don't really know much about Kurt!
It's fine, guys; I did edit about his school outfits. His casual outfits, as you may notice, can be perceived as feminine of not; I like to say, pretty damn fashionable C':
Don is very much less likely to wear a skirt unless in the presence of his friends, so you all don't have to worry about much. He is more stick-like than slender, ahah. He will be taken under total construction, guise.
@ Nick:
Of course! I think Don will be the hardest character I have ever created in my lifetime, and I'll need a lot of practice.

Not to antagonize you, love, but I'm just going to ask you this; why should he be a cross-dresser? Why can't he just be proud about being out of the closet?
I'm saying this because it looks to me that you're not writing a character with personality, you're writing about a character based on his sexualityiI alone, and that's never good. Kurt from Glee is an annoying example; he's gay, he loves feminine things like shopping and fashion (even though a lot of straight males do that same), he cares about his looks, always aligns himself with the girls during competitions. He's every gay stereotype under the sun; that shit gets old pretty fast. He's fabulous and amazing all the time and when he gets bullied he's allowed to cry loudly in public and he makes weird sexual advances to the obviously straight guys in the show.
I know a lot of cross-dressers and trans-people personally. Some are gay, some align more towards the opposite gender and think of themselves as 'straight'. They have a lot of deep-rooted feelings about not fitting in or not belonging to society. They're angry and confused about their current body, they don't immediately accept the notion that it's okay to express who they are freely, and it takes them YEARS (sometimes even until late adulthood) do they fully embrace who they feel they really are.
About his outfit; trust me, even if he cross-dresses rarely in campus, he will be pulled up for wearing clothes that are inappropriate on the times that he does. It's fine that he does it outside of school, whatever. He would be bullied if say Ted or Damon saw him in a skirt when they know he wears a boy's uniform in school. I went to a school that had much stricter rules than Bullworth when it came to uniforms. A cross-dresser friend of mine had to keep a boy's haircut and wear the boy's uniform. It made him angry, but at least he wasn't in trouble. And with kids as mean as they come in Bullworth, trouble is something you'd want to avoid.
Research, love. I don't think you've done a lot :< And with a lot of support groups for such people online, it isn't hard for you to probably find a community somewhere and see what they've written about themselves.
I suggest you put him on the backburner and remove this thread. There's a reason not a lot of trans-people or cross-dressers are shown in mainstream media; it's not because society is easily squicked by it, but they're also incredibly hard. All my years of writing and character designing, I can't touch these characters with a 10 foot pole. They're never easy to get right and there might be chances of offending somebody out there.
If you're basing the fact that he's a cross-dresser because of anime/manga; stop. Those characters are only done as a fetish or fan-service, not because the creators actually want a properly developed character.

Overall, I'm very apologetic about this character. (Oh, and Nick, I guess we can't have that RP moment then.) Memai is also right; I haven't been into it in developing my characters more.
If you all want to ban me for it, then I'm completely fine with it. It's a punishment I see fit because I'm pretty sure I offended you all. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
