Personality Info
Mannerisms:[/b] Tends to stand up straight with feet wide apart, often puts her hands on her hips and makes wide, sweeping gestures.
Traits: Competitive, egotistical, dependable, lively, dramatic
Most Pronounced Trait: Napoleon complex - she's much more competitive and talks a bigger game towards students who are larger than she is. She also looooves upstaging boys in front of their girlfriends, or girls that she knows they like.
Hidden Trait: Emotional as all get-out. Josie likes to put on a show of being cool and tough, but she's sensitive when it comes to how her friends (and certain girls) view her. She also tends to blow things wayyy out of proportion, and overreacts to just about everything.
Worst Trait: Josie's afraid of change. The thought of the future terrifies her, so she clings to the dynamics of her clique. She doesn't deal well with shifts in relationship dynamics, and generally dislikes new students or anybody who tries to rock the boat.
Goals: Surprisingly, to go into musical theater in some capacity.
Fears: Failure, change, losing the people closest to her, being made weak or helpless
Hobbies: Swing dancing, watching classic films, bike racing, stealing hubcaps, wrestling/sparring with friends, painting the town red.
Beliefs: Might makes right.
Passions: Josie wants to be the best - the boldest, strongest, and bravest person at Bullworth. She wants to make a name for herself.
Rate out of 10:
Endurance: 8/10 (Leads a very active life climbing fences and running from trouble)
Strength: 6.5/10 (Not nearly as tough as she claims to be, but she can still pack a punch)
Intelligence(Left): 2/10 (she's an embarrassingly lousy student)
Intelligence(Right): 7/10 (Growing up in a seedy area's taught her a thing or too, but she still tends to run her mouth and get herself into trouble)
Honesty: 5/10 (Has tendency to embellish on the truth and beat around the bush, but rarely lies up-front)
Compassion: 8/10 (Very loyal toward those she was raised with. And girls.)
Beauty: 3/10 (Keeps herself looking tidy, but doesn't put a lot of stock in her physical appearance)
Social Status
Clique: Greasers
Friends: All greasers, particularly Lola, Priscilla, and Vance. She tends to be playfully competitive with the larger members of the clique (Norton especially), and though she likes him well enough, she tends to have petty arguments with Johnny. She's the only member of the clique who is always on good terms with Lola, no matter who she gets caught kissing.
She's also friendly with Luis, though he doesn't have much time for the greasers these days. She tries to keep up a good relationship with him, but is still a little sore about him leaving the greasers to become a jock.
Crush: dating Connie Davenport. Josie thinks they're being secretive, but Josie is the least subtle person who's ever lived so everybody knows. Everybody.
Enemies: The Preps, the Townies (excluding Zoe because what a babe), Mandy, Casey, Juri, Damon, and Ted.
Outlook on Life: It's too short, you know, man?
Short Bio.
An only child to a single mother living in New Coventry. She grew up with most of the greasers, and was always considered "one of the guys." As a child she was quite tall for her age, and liked to think of herself as one of the toughest kids on the block, but in middle school most of her friends grew taller than her, and she's always had a bit of a complex about it.
Her sexuality has never been that big of a deal for herself or her friends. She's never come out to her mother, but has a feeling she already knows, and doesn't actively try to hide it.
Josie grew up on classic Hollywood films. Her earliest influences were a hodge-podge of Marlon Brando and Gene Kelly - she wants to be all kinds of cool and suave and tough and romantic, like an old-timey Hollywood star. She took up dancing and enjoys it, but her mom struggles to pay for her dance lessons, so Josie takes on odd jobs to help support herself. Sometimes those odd jobs involve stealing and pawning other peoples' things. If her mother has any idea, she doesn't let on.
