There seemed to be silence in the classroom, a pleasant change that Mr. Watts had so desperately wanted. But he knew that the silence wouldn't last, for the students before him were merely fascinated with the sight of the new girl at the front.
There she stood, shivering timidly like a lost pup, trying to hard to keep her head low, blue eyes up and brown hair out of her face. She wore a leather jacket, one decorated so intricately, no one was sure whether to be impressed to keep their tongues in check. Her feet shuffled nervously on the clean tiled floors of the chemistry lab.
Mr. Watts approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder as he spoke in a firm voice to the students, "Now class, I'd like you all to meet our newest student; Roxanne Smith. She has done me proud with her results, so I hope you would at least treat her with respect. She's from England, you know?" The final end of the sentence saw some students in Aquaberry vests perk up, smiling and curious. Suddenly paying full attention to the shy girl."Won't you tell us a little bit about yourself, Ms. Smith?" "I uhh..." She wanted to shut her mouth, realising how loud her quiet voice echoed in the lab, "I'm... I'm very pleased to meet you all. Uhh, you can call me Roxy, if... if you want. Ummm, I s'pose that's it, really." "I've heard better," She could hear the teacher mumble, "Ms. Smith, won't you take a seat next to Mr. Romano over there? Perhaps a student of your intellect might encourage him to try a little harder at his studies." Roxy nodded, making her way over to the table with cautious, quiet steps. Not a foot away from the table, she had forgotten to watch her own feet; she tripped, books and loose notes flying before her and her face slammed onto the tiles.
She froze, feeling the burn of her cheeks and the muted, stifled giggles of her classmates. All the more embarrassed as she heard a few stinging whispers.'Not very graceful, is she?' 'Talk about falling for a guy...' She scrambled quickly to pick up her books, realising that stalling a teacher's class was certainly no way to warm up to him. In her frantic attempt of collecting back her work, the delightful Mr. Romano had risen off his seat, assisting the lady."You... You should be careful next time." "..." "My name's Peanut." He said as he placed her books on the table and patted the seat next to him, motioning for her to take her place. "Roxy's not a bad name." "Alright class, let's begin," Mr. Watts announced. Roxy looked to her partner for a moment, allowing a smile to form and a small, fanciful blush to appear. He was certainly the Prince Charming most girls had anticipated, in fact, he was the only one to help her up. When she ran through the school doors, all she received was a shove!"Th-Thank you. But, I don't like talking in class. Perhaps we can cha' s'more after this... ahh... Peanut."

OFFICER KAY: Kay stared at the back of the new girl's head while Bucky nattered away about posassium iodide. She decied to suss her a bit before talking to her. She watched how carefully she was doing her course work. And she noted how she was sitting next to Peanut. Maybe they were cousins, or something. Kay didn't know Peanut too well, but she had helped him out on one or two occasions with some trouble with Preps, so in his opinion, Kay was alright.
"Kay," Bucky said, pokeing her arm. "Kay we need to finnish this experiment," Kay dragged her eyes back to where they were supposed to be.
The bell rang, jerking Kay out of her immense concentation of setting the curtains on fie without Dr Watts noticing. She failed, but she knewher brain wasn't in it as she craved to know more about the new girl. She crammed her books into her ruck sack and tailed her out of class, hoping to find out where she hung out, who she hug out with and what clique she fancied herself with.

MEMAI: If dear Roxy were to have a fear, it would be fearing even the most slightest of social situations, including apologising to an unlucky pedestrian or a trade for change at the convenience store. She quickly grabbed her books and notes together, wanting to get off the stools and out away someplace lonely as soon as her little legs would bring her.
However, that was not to be; as she managed to land her feet on the floor, she felt a tug at the back of her jacket. She turned around, near frightened at the thought that this new stranger, Peanut, would honestly want to converse with her, "Uhh... yes?"
"Where are you going?"
"Wh-Why?"
"So I could talk to you. You said you didn't like talking in class... so..."
Roxy was slightly taken aback at the brown-haired boy's intent, what was possibly so interesting about her that would have a boy wanting to talk? "Oh, um... I'm going out to my locker."
"Want me to walk you there?"
"Y-You don't have to, I mean, you could but..."
"Great, c'mon. Lead the way."
They both made an exit from the classroom, oblivious to the extra pair of feet following them closely behind.
"Why would you want to talk to me, anyway?" The English girl said in a timid voice upon finally reaching her locker, not a few feet away from the principle's office. "You don't have to, really."
"Listen, there are kids out there that'd pick on you for wearing this," Peanut tugged on a section of her jacket, "Like those rich kids," He pointed with his eyes to a group of Aquaberry-clad youths. Chattering in faux accents and nose firmly positioned in the air. "It's not my job but, we poor kids have to stick together." He jabbed her playfully in the shoulders, "Plus! You're pretty cool."
"I'm... I'm glad you think that way. Honestly, in the past hour I've been here, I— OOF!" In what seemed like seconds, the lanky girl was pushed straight into her locker, a few books falling off their shelves and notes straying from their folders.
"Why, if it isn't the new kid... Tell me, do you English people always literally fall for you guy?" It was none other than Mandy, the notorious cheerleader, "Tell you what though, bad choice. Unless you, like, totally enjoy being disappointed every night." Snide remarks and cruel giggles were heard under her posse's breath, leaving a terrible trail of fear and forced respect as she turned and left for her next class.
Peanut froze for a moment, completely embarrassed by the remark Mandy had made. It was one thing if Johnny or Vance had joked to him about, but Mandy simply took it too far.
"Here, I'll get you up." He grabbed Roxy's arm and hoisted her up, ready to present an assuring grip but only responded with a shock expression, "Hey, you crying?"
She jolted, hastily wiping away any tears that may have fallen. "Crying?! O-Of course not!" During her fall she felt a distinct breeze travelling up her skirt. She was no fool to physics, certainly hoping that no one saw her panties in her motionless whimper in the locker, "You didn't see anything, right?"
"See what?"
"Never mind..."
"Mandy..." The two whipped their heads around to the sound of a voice— Kay's.

OFFICER KAY: "...is a bitch," She finnished, walking forward, cracking her knuckles sharply. Roxy winced. She knew from studying medical science what Kay was doing to the cartlidge in her hands
"I'll break her arm if you want," She suggested.
"No, no, that er- that wouldn't be nessessary," Roxy said quickly, wondering if the girl was serious or not.
"Well she's a whore. She'll get like syphillis or something." Kay said casually.
"Yeah.. whore," Peanut said, still red from Mandy's remark. Kay had heard what she'd said, but pretended not to. It'd be cruel to bring it back up. And she at least had seen what the new girl had been worried that Peanut had seen. " Thank God for shorts," Kay thought. "Whore?" Roxy repeated.
"Sleep around, hooker, cow spread-em-for the boys type of girl," Kay snorted.
"Oh..." Roxy was astounded at Kay's lazy, American slang accent.
"Anyways, sorry for the rubbish intro. I'm Kay. Kay Adams. What do you get called?"

MEMAI Roxy held her hand out, albeit nervously, "M-My name's Roxanne Smith... I'm a new student here. You... You can call me Roxy."
"She's in our class." Peanut quickly added, finally cooling down the final two hues of the red in his cheeks, "Real whizz at Watts class."
"Oh?" Kay raised an eyebrow, taking the shier girl's hand and giving it a slow shake. This new bit of information had surprised her; as far as she knew, anyone in Bullworth who wore a leather jacket was a Greaser... and the clique certainly had a reputation of being average students, certainly not science lovers and excelling students. "Well, you think we can have a run for our money?" A sly wink.
"Um... that's okay." Roxy bent down, carefully picking up her books, "I... I don't have class for another half hour."
"Wanna hang out?" The Greaser said, a bit too casually for anyone's taste.
"Hang out? Umm..."
"Yeah, what's that place down in Coventry? Oh man, Roxy, right? You should totally head over there, great stuff." Kay nattered, patting her stomach at the very thought of the cafe's delicious little treats.
"Coventry? Where's that?"
"C'mon, we'll show ya. Me and my friends hang around there all the time. I figure we can hang around there for a bit, it's not very far so you'll get to class on time..."
"You got a bike?" Kay asked, tempted to drag the new girl by the wrist.
"It's outside..."

OFFICER KAY: "Whoa nice bike!" Kay cried, looking at the sleek black, expensive bike.
"That's way better than mine," Peanut said, kicking his BMX. "And wait-" He rounded on Kay. "You don't ride!"
"I don't ride bikes, but i do ride skateboards." Kay agreed, pulling off her rucksack. They noticed the larg black board sticking out the top. She took it out and hopped on, grinning.
"C'mon, im hungry," She yelled back, as she took off towards the gates. Roxy carefully (So not to have another incidently like her fall) held her skirt down shileshe sat on her bike. Peanut casually just swung a leg over and rode beside Roxy. Kay looked back and gave a smirk to herself. She hadn't seen Peanut look at anyone like that in a while.
Kay ollied up onto the Cafe deck and fell staright into a chair, grinning at both of them as they sat down. Roxy had carefully rested her bike against the railing and Peanut had thrown his into a bush and precceded to go and order food.
"To be honest, i can't ride," Kay said, nodding at thier bikes.
"Really?" Roxy said, looking a bit confused.
"Fell off one when i was younger, got run over. Never gotten on on again," Kay told her.
"That's terrible," Roxy said quietly.
"Not really!" Kay said enthusiastically. "It left me with a realy cool scar in the shape of Germany!" She pulled up her shirt sleeve and showed a taken aback Roxy the Germany shaped scar.
"That's... nice," She mumbled, as Kay leant back on her chair, swinging on the two back legs.
"Here, i bought us burgers and chips!" Peanut said, putting everything down on the grubby table. Roxy looked pained at the Greasy foods.
"Um... i never had enough money for drinks," he looked embrarassed. Kay stood up.
"It's okay, i'll get em," She stood back up and went int her sock and drew out a ten dollar note. "What are you both having?"
"Beam cola," Peanut said. Kay nodded and looked at Roxy.
"No thank you," She said.
"I'll buy you something anyways. May as well tell me what you want," Kay said with a sly smile.
"Um... okay then sparkling grape juice?" She said hopefully. Peanut and Kay both looked at each other and then at Roxy.
"I dunno if they sell that here, but i'll try," Kay said. She walked up to the counter. Roxy took a bite of the burger and nearly gagged, but swallowed the fatty, greasy meat down so she didn't offend Peanut.

MEMAI: With a trying gulp, Roxy managed a weak smile, "Wow... it's... so good."
"Isn't it?" Peanut took a heaping bite out of his own little meal, smiling wide as if he were possessed by Hal. "So...what's this sparkling grape juice?" He said with his mouth full, a habit Roxy always deemed improper but kept her tongue in check. "Is it like... a fancy English word or—," A loud, rude gulp, "— summin'?"
"Uhhh..." She wanted to quip and reply with 'non-alcoholic champagne', but champagne was certainly something the citizens of New Coventry didn't enjoy on a daily basis; judging from the worn out street and aged buildings. "It's a... kind of drink. I... I have it all the time when I was in England..." She looked down, shyly twidling her thumbs.
"Bet'cha miss home, huh? England's far away innit?"
"Yeah. Really far. I miss all my friends and my old school."
"Bet it's cool there."
"It's very cold." She nodded, both of them realising that the conversation was coming to a near standstill. Roxy never had the pleasure of indulging in simple foods like burgers or fries, not even cotton candy. She was treated with delights like truffles and caviar, spare ribs and chocolate fondue. The thought of taking another bite off her food disgusted her, but she had to do this, just once. At least to please such school mates.
"Hey, look, here comes Kay."
"Jolly."
The girl in question handed Peanut his cola, who in turn, grabbed the can like a child anticipating a trip to a candy store. Kay turned to Roxy and handed her a can, as well, "Well, the guy looked at me all confused and stuff, but he gave me grape soda, I hope you don't mind."
Another faux smile from the English girl, "Oh, yay then." She opened the can, nearly wincing at the hissing noise of compressed carbonate, "B-Bottoms up..." 'Especially after this morning? Literally.'

SAMWICH: "What's this," Dee finally spoke after watching them for a while, "fancy grape juice of some sort?"
Roxy was startled by the sudden outburst. Peanut turned from his oh-so-very-delicious burger and grinned at Dee, "Hey Dee, how long you've been watching us?"
“Only a few minutes..." she smiled at turned to Roxy, who was petrified from earlier. "Oh.. who's this?"
Kay leaned towards the table and put down her burger, "Roxy. She's new."
"I can see that." Dee smirked.
"We were eating, wanna' join us," Peanut offered.
"Sure thing! I love eating. With friends." Dee smiled at Roxy, who was quite frightened from Lidiya’s facial expression. It seemed a bit evil-looking to Roxy. Dee shook Roxy’s hand, “I’m Lidiya, but people call me Dee. You should eat some green papaya.” “What for?” Roxy was puzzled from the strange remark.
“Your boobs will grow.”
Roxy’s eyes were wide open in awe, “E-e-excuse me?” Peanut wasn’t surprised at all, though. He’s been around Dee too much. Things like this tend to happen a lot.
“You’re flaaat. Guys won’t like that,” Dee leaned in and whispered, “that includes Peanut.”
Peanut cocked a brow, “I heard that.”
Dee stood up, “Ahahahaa~ I’ll go get something to eat.”
As Dee walked up to the counter, Peanut muttered, “Freak…”

OFFICER KAY: Kay leaned over to Roxy and whispered "Ignore her, she's like this to everyone. She's a bit mad. Sound, but mad."
Roxy looked fit to faint. "Dudes and dudettes, i gotta jet," Kay announced, cramming the rest of her burger down.
"Listen, i work at the Carnival on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesday evenings. If you wanna talk tome and can't find me, i'll be there." She winked at them all.
"I'm gonna go meet Niel for some one to one time before shop class. Take care of Roxy, Peanut," Kay said, giving him a sly grin and she kicked her Skateboard down the street.

MEMAI: "I'm not flat..." Roxy protested in a near-whimpering voice as Kay left, "I'm just... petite."
"Trust me, you'll get used to it," Peanut patted her forearm gently, assuring smile trying hard not to crack into hysterical laughter. It was true, though, Roxy was perhaps a bit modest in her assets, up to the point that wearing a pair of baggy pants would have every Bullworth student mistake her for a boy. "We're a really horny lot here, right, Dee?" He looked up to the black-haired girl with a wry smile.
"Pfft. I'm just saving her from more stupid jokes. You didn't take my advice the first time 'round, and now look at you!"
"I'm a non-conformist. A rebel without a cause."
"Without a cause is right," Dee mumbled as she took a sip off her drink, "So? Anyone got class after this? I just thought of this massive little rumour we can start against Derby... but Hal doesn't want in and Vance is... well."
"Wait..." Roxy spoke up, "You... You know Derby? Derby Harrington?"
"Tch'. Know him? We hate him!" Peanut clenched his fist as the mere image of the prep formed in his mind. "Those no good rich kids."
"Why? Do you?" Dee asked, uninterested with the boy's mumbling of revenge. With an eyebrow firmly raised and expression quizzical, she prodded, "You're new and all... how'd you know Derby?"
"I... I met him the very day I moved in... he wasn't very nice to me."
"What? He picking on girls now?" The Greaser asked, outraged, "Why'd he do that?"
"I'm English, you know. And it wasn't just Derby, there was this one other fellow too. Kept asking me to repeat all my sentences. The barking idiot."
Dee snickered, "That's Tad alright... He thinks he's English or something."
A beep of a watch could be heard. "Oh darn. I'm running a bit late here..."
"Where you headed?" Peanut asked, finishing off the last of his food.
"Class. Biology, to be exact."
"Wait... doesn't Harrington have Biology as well at this time?" Dee looked to Peanut as if a brilliant idea had just come to mind.

SAMWICH: The three students stepped into Mr. Slawter’s classroom.
“Oh my god,” Roxy covered her nose and mouth with her sleeve, “what is that smell?” The room carried the scent of dead animals and fertilizer.
Dee sniffed, “Beautiful, ain’t it?”
“Would you look at this,” Peanut picked up a jar which contained a living lizard.
“Perfect,” Dee smirked.
Roxy looked puzzled, “Perfect? Perfect for what?!”
“Harrington,” the other two laughed in unison.
Roxy’s eyes widened, “What do you plan on doing?”
Dee put her arm around Roxy’s shoulder, “I say we drop it down his shirt. He’ll enjoy that.”
“And he’ll learn that he shouldn’t have been mean to you, Roxy.”
Roxy protested, “W-what? He wasn’t that mean to me. It was nothing, really!”
Dee’s smile widened, “It’s okay Roxy. No need to be such a nice person. Trust me, you’ll enjoy it.”
At that moment, the bell rang. Peanut patted Roxy’s back, “You’ll probably be sitting behind Derby. Dee and I will be out of reach, so it's up to you,” Peanut handed the jar to Roxy, "Good luck!"
“I never agreed to this…” Roxy stared at the lizard for a second and stuffed it in her bag.
Mr. Slawter turned from his papers and spotted Roxy, “Ah, I see you are the new student.”

MEMAI: She tried to hide any guilt or fear that appeared on her face, "Oh... uh."
"You're on time... that's wonderful," Mr. Slawter turned to the class that was filling up. He wasn't the one to dawdle, "Class, we've a new student here... I expect you all to spare her any of your pranks this time. We don't want another... 'accident' now, do we?"
Half the class gulped, other snickered and passed around high fives. "Right then."
Roxy turned around nervously, catching sight of Dee and Peanut motioning for her to proceed. Derby had just come into the class, ready to be seated as he wore a smirk upon discovering the English girl, "Well, if it isn't the traitor," the screech of the chair against the floor as he brought himself forward, "You really are looking for trouble, aren't you? Doing what you did."
"Ohh... Derby!"
"Class... focus..." The teacher strained, momentarily leaving all eyes on the board in the front. Roxy wasted no time in removing the jar from her bag discreetly, grabbing the little fiend by the tail and placing it on the Prep's shoulder.
Seeing the little creature perched quietly, a moment of mischief possessed the would-be-Greaser, placing the jar on the floor and pushing it forward with her foot, so it would be nicely positioned next to Harrington's seat.
"What on Earth...?" The blonde mumbled as he felt little legs crawl on his shoulder and quickly seeking shelter in his shirt. "OH GOD!" He jumped as he felt frantic, tickling feet crawl all over him, stumbling out of his seat and on the glass jar. He lost his balance as he fell over with a loud 'thud', and the brown lizard had ran off into a crack in the walls. Suppressed giggles and red faces filled the classroom soon after.
"Mr. Harrington, I had expected a man of your cunning behaviour be a little bit more careful when executing his plots." Mr. Slawter said in a grim voice as he hovered over the Prep.
"I didn't do it!" Derby got up, quickly dusting himself off and pointed accusingly at Roxy, "She did it! I know she did it"
The girl, in question, responded with a hurt look, complete with a small quiver of her bottom lip.
"You aren't ten, Mr. Harrington. I anticipated snitching to be below you. Very, very below you."
"Mr. Slawter, I swear on ever—"
"Save it for the Principal, Mr. Harrington, I'm sure he'd enjoy a good story." A sinister smile from the teacher as he shoved a piece of paper to the boy's chest.
As Derby walked out of the room defeated, he mouthed out 'I'll get you, Smith!', Roxy only displaying a shy, proud face. She turned to Dee and Peanut in the back, displaying an expression nothing short of, "I did it."

OFFICER KAY: By the time after class came, most of the school was talking about the stunt pulled in Biology. Kay refused to beleive that it was Roxy. She had been in shop at the time and someone had come in and told everyone. She regretfully left Niel and bolted up into the school and met Roxy coming out of Bio lab with Dee and Peanut.
"No way, did you prank Derby?" Kay exploded when she saw her. Roxy gave a slight nod. "He deserved it.
"Wow," Kay said, her eyes wide. Dee came over and swung and arm over Roxy's shoulder.
"And who had the idea?" She said proudly.
"I should have known," Kay replied wryly.
"You shoulda seen his face," Peanut grinned, not taking his eyes off Roxy.
"Damn i wish i'd been there," Kay said longingly. "Your getting off to a good start, Roxy," She said approvingly.
"Of course she is, she's hanging with the cream of Bullworth," Dee said, a manic glint in her eye.
"Seriously. I'm so glad it's true, i had to leave Niel to find out," Kay said, nodding her head s if telling them she'd left a relative's funeral.
"Your still snogging him?" Dee said, looking skeptical. "He's a teacher," Kay shrugged. "A hot teacher, what difference does it make?"
"We should celebrate Roxy's first prank-off in the school." Peanut suggested.
"We should set something on fire," Kay said eagerly.
"Lay off pyro-freak," Dee grinned, shoving Kay over a bit.
"How can you deny fire?" Kay asked her, shoving her back, laughing.

MEMAI: "Well..." Roxy spoke up from the excited chatter of her new friends, "...I-I would like a little tour of school... or something. Maybe you could even show me your friends?" The quiet girl coyly tugged at Peanut's sleeve, much like in the manner of a small child. Who could blame her? He was a giant compared to her average frame. Most of the Greasers were tall and built to intimidate like classic rebels.
"A tour huh?" The brown haired boy looked up thoughtfully, "I guess that's cool. I think Johnny will like you."
Roxy could hear excited squeals coming from Dee, who quickly latched to the girl's arm with a silly smile, "Oh! You should meet Johnny! He's so... amazing, y'know?"
Peanut smiled knowingly, the mere mention of their clique leader was sure to send the little Russian doll into a fit of girlish giggles. The other boys knew it well, except Johnny, who turned a blind eye to Dee, too busy being strung up by Lola.
"Hah, well, we all hang around Shop, you'll prolly find us there when you come to class..."
Roxy looked down, "Oh... well, I... I don't believe I'm taking shop?"
Surprise hit the other three, more notably Peanut, "You... don't take shop? Then... what're you taking?" It baffled him! Here was a girl who had a stunning bike with all the latest parts and bits, and yet she took no interest in the subject?
"I... I don't like it so much. I'm more into Scientific subjects... like biology? But umm... mummy wanted me to take Home Economics. To be lady-like. She's very feminine, so you can imagine the 'torture' I go through." A giggle. "I guess it's okay. I want to be a surgeon... so maybe I can bake my patients cookies so they'll feel a bit better."
"Hal'll love you."
"That boy," Kay laughed and faced Roxy, "Hal's with the Greasers and he LOVES food. You'd better not brag about your Home Ec. skills unless you want him like... calling you up everyday or something."
"How interesting..."
"Speaking of calling..." Dee interrupted, "Where're you staying, girl? At the girl's dorm? 'Cause if you do, I have a bed next to me no one's taking."
"Oh, no... I live off campus."
"Off campus? Some people have all the luck," Peanut scratched the back of his head, "I bet you don't have curfew. So... which part are you staying in? The Town?"
"Uhh... actually, The Vale."
Everybody stopped and faced her. "The... Vale? You mean where all the preps like Derby lives? You're kidding, right?"
She began to sweat. "W-Well, not really IN the Vale... I live near it umm... but you have to pass through it. You know?"
"Oh, wow... that's quite a way, isn't it? You cycle to school don't you?" Dee looked at the girl's little legs, wondering if they would snap off under all that cycling to and fro everyday.
"Yeah... but my bike does go pretty fast. I like the wind in my hair, I feel... alive." Roxy chuckled at her own use of a poetic line. And her little half-truth (which was always better than a whole lie).
They soon approached the Auto Shop, with all of the Greaser clique members loitering about; Hal with his burgers, Lola with her Johnny and Vance with his pocket comb and makeshift mirrors.
"Hey look! It's Peanut and Dee!" Lucky could be heard.

SAMWICH: Most of the greasers waved, the ones who didn't were wound up in their business.Hal didn't bother to greet them since he was much too busy eating his burger. Dee pouted when she noticed.
"Who's the new girl," Lefty, the black-haired greaser, questioned.
Peanut tugged on Roxy and pulled her in front of him so everybody could get a good look, "Everybody, I want you to meet Roxy."
"What a cutie," Vance stated while smiling.
Most of the greasers nodded in approval, but Johnny and Lola were too busy making out.The greasers introduced each other to Roxy while Dee and Kay chatted on the side. It was a upbeat day, especially since it was only Roxy's first day.
"Well," Kay laughed, "Have you guys heard about what happened to Derby?"
"Oh yeah," Hal spoke after finishing his burger, "someone pulled a prank on him. Heard he got a detention for it, too."
"Yup, and that 'someone' is our, the one and only, Roxy," Kay grinned while putting her arm around the shy girl.
"Man, that takes guts." The Greasers were definitely overwhelmed.
Dee whispered to Peanut while the others were praising Roxy, "Do you think Derby will have his guys do something about it? I mean, he knows Roxy did it."
"He probably will, but I'm sure we can handle them," Peanut smiled while messing with Dee's hair.
"So guys," Roxy brushed off her clothes and walked over to them, "these are your friends?"
"Yup, more like our family, really," Dee grinned.
"They aren't the neatest, but I think I'll love them, too." Roxy glanced at the greasers, who had returned to their previous tasks.
Shortly after Roxy finished her sentence, an egg had been chucked at the small, frail girl. Luckily, it had missed by an inch and landed at her foot. The four looked up and spotted Justin, the prep, running off towards the fountain. Two other preps were visible, Chad and Bryce.
Kay turned to Dee, "You think we're headed for a fight?"
"Definitely," The two were off, like they were racing to see who could reach the preps first. Peanut held onto Roxy's shoulders, "Are you alright? Did you get hit?"
"No, I'm fine," Roxy was shaking a bit.
"Stay here, I'm gonna go beat the crap outta' those guys," Peanut let go of Roxy and ran off.
